The Tashkent Economic Court revoked the license of private kindergarten Rayyan Kids Land. What a license revocation means and how parents can verify a kindergarten's license.
The Tashkent Interdistrict Economic Court has revoked the license of the private kindergarten Rayyan Kids Land. According to the court, the license for non-state educational services, issued on 13 August 2025, was annulled following a claim by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
The case followed a scandal over a video showing signs of mistreatment of children that appeared on social media in early July. A criminal case has been opened under Article 110 of the Criminal Code (cruel treatment) and a forensic medical examination has been ordered; a teacher is involved in the case as a defendant. The court explained the procedure and deadlines for appealing the ruling. The license revocation was also reported by the Gazeta.uz news portal.
Revoking a license means the institution loses the right to legally provide educational services. Before enrolling a child in a private kindergarten or center, parents should make sure the institution holds a valid license from the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
You can check a license by requesting a copy directly from the institution and verifying the details with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education. Signs of mistreatment or other violations at a kindergarten can be reported to the ministry, and — where a child's life or health is at risk — to law enforcement.
