A child's grades can now be viewed on my.gov.uz, together with school details

Uzbekistan's government services portal my.gov.uz has opened remote access for parents to the academic performance of children enrolled in general secondary schools. The portal announced this on 17 September. No separate electronic-diary account is needed: the data appears in the same personal cabinet where the family already has a profile.

What parents can see

The section has two parts. About the child's studies:

• current grades for every subject and average scores;
• grade statistics for the class and overall, so the child's standing among classmates is visible too.

About the school itself:

• the name of the institution and its exact address;
• the number of students and of teachers working there;
• other details about the institution.

If a grade looks puzzling, it helps to review how the quarterly score is calculated in schools with criteria-based assessment: there the result is made up of 10, 50 and 40 points.

How to open it, and what comes next

Go to my.gov.uz (sign in to the personal cabinet via OneID), open the "My Family" section and press the "School information" button next to the child's details.

The portal said real-time attendance data will be launched soon. That is still an announcement rather than a working feature: some retellings of the news have already described it as available.
