From the 2026/27 school year, primary school teachers who pass the national certification exam at B+ level or higher will receive a 15% salary supplement.
From the 2026/27 school year, primary school teachers with specialized education who pass national certification will receive a monthly supplement of 15% of their base salary. The bonus goes to teachers who pass the exam at B+ level or higher. According to Podrobno.uz, the examination procedure has been approved by a government resolution.
The exam is administered by the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications. The registration fee is 1.5 BRV. Papers are scored using the international Rasch methodology; certificates range from C to A+, with the top level awarded for scores above 70 points. The exam assesses subject knowledge, teaching methodology and pedagogical skills. Applications are submitted electronically via the my.gov.uz portal, which also issues an electronic certificate with a QR code. Exam results can be appealed.
The supplement is funded from the state budget for the full validity period of the certificate. For parents this is a signal: schools now have a direct incentive to attract and retain certified primary school teachers, and a teacher''s qualification can be confirmed by a document.
