Sign in and claim this pageYuniy Geniy ("Young Genius") is a private kindergarten on Salom street in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent. It takes children from eighteen months to seven years, opens Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 19:00, and serves five meals a day.
The programme covers 18 types of activities. Alongside the main groups there are a speech therapist and speech development classes, English, chess, taekwondo, music, dance, drawing and modelling, the "Umelye Ruchki" appliqué club, neuro-games and Voskobovich developmental games. In the preparatory group, literacy lessons — reading and writing — run four times a week.
Teachers regularly attend professional seminars; children take part in national chess tournaments among private kindergartens, go on excursions, and stage "living fairy tales" and holiday performances.
The grounds are enclosed and green: a lawn, a playground with a slide and swings, canopies and shaded seating areas. Inside there are spacious groups with play corners, sleeping rooms and a personal locker for every child.
