Sign in and claim this pageWunderkind is a private kindergarten in Samarkand at 80A Abu Rayhan Beruni Street, a few minutes from the tea factory. It takes children aged 2 to 7 in groups of no more than 15. The kindergarten is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00 and on Saturday from 08:00 to 16:00; Sunday is closed.
The programme is built on the Montessori method: sessions run in a prepared environment with sorters, insets and materials for counting and fine motor skills. School preparation runs alongside it: reading and writing, speech development with a speech therapist, and mental arithmetic. Three languages are taught — Russian, Uzbek and English — and the flashcards used in the groups are labelled in all three.
Extracurricular classes include drawing, piano, dance, chess, gymnastics and taekwondo. Outings are regular: a factory tour, a cinema trip, a cooking masterclass.
Meals are served four times a day. On site there are a canteen, a medical room, security, and a green courtyard with a playground and a covered pergola.
