It takes children aged 2 to 6; the groups have names — Popugaychik, Oduvanchik. The day is built around lessons and play: the children read a primer, work through sounds and syllables, draw and paint, sing, dance, and do logic and speech development. The grounds have an artificial-turf yard under a canopy, an indoor play area with a slide, and a swimming pool. Meals are served three times a day — breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack, with soup, a main course, salad and fruit. A separate room is set up for the afternoon nap. The kindergarten holds matinees with an invited brass band and graduation ceremonies in caps and gowns.
