Sign in and claim this pageInternational Kids Centre (IKCentre) is a private kindergarten in Karshi, in the Buyuk Turon mahalla opposite Karshi International Airport. It takes preschool-age children and prepares them for school.
Teaching is trilingual: groups are led in Uzbek, with English and Russian taught separately — children learn to read and write in Russian and pick up English through play. Maths, general knowledge and logic come through didactic games: "my first numbers", learning the alphabet, topics such as "Professions" and "Body parts", and acting out fairy tales.
The clubs on offer are karate and gymnastics, which the kindergarten highlights as training in discipline as much as physical fitness. There is a medical room and a canteen, the grounds are guarded and under video surveillance, and there is a playground in the yard.
The kindergarten runs Telegram, Instagram and Facebook accounts and publishes everything in all three languages at once — Uzbek, Russian and English.
