Sign in and claim this pageInnovative Centre is an education centre in Samarkand at 95A Gagarin Street, opposite the MAKRO supermarket, occupying the first, second and fourth floors of the building.
The centre is an accredited examination venue: it is listed in the global ielts.org registry as an IELTS centre in partnership with British Council Uzbekistan, and it is an authorised Cambridge English Assessment centre. It also administers SAT and AP for the College Board and A Levels for Pearson Edexcel.
Programmes include IELTS preparation, Cambridge English level courses (from A1 Movers and A2 Flyers up to B2), SAT preparation, STEM and K–12 programmes, and IT courses. IELTS preparation takes 2.5–3 months; level and IT courses take 1.5–2 months. Teaching uses original licensed Cambridge and MM Publications materials, and monthly assessments decide progression to the next level.
The centre houses a library of more than 60,000 books, open daily. According to the centre, it employs over 40 certified teachers and serves more than 4,500 students each month.
It was founded by Mukhammadkhon Soliev, a Cambridge English Speaking and Writing Examiner at all levels, holder of a DELTA and a PhD, and formerly head of the expert committee at the Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Language Learning under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
